Daddy fest pt. 4…the final frontier

Woke up Sunday morning @ 5:45 am and left for church. My mom stayed with the kids until I got home around 1:00pm. I usually take a nap at this time but the house was a wreck so I started cleaning. Kids woke up from their naps around 3:30. We had snacks and hung out around the house…I was still cleaning. Around 5 we got dressed and headed out for pizza before going to church at 6:15. We got home from church around 7:30, gave the kids a bath, i cleaned a little more, and then we waited or Carrie to come home by watching cartoons and eating strawberries. Carrie arrived home about 8:30 and our world was normal again…we missed our mommy.

Things I accomplished on Sunday:

-Led people to the throne of God

-cleaned the whole house and did the laundry

The weekend was awesome but I’m glad to have Carrie home. Our house isn’t the same when she’s not here…felt empty…it’s full again.

  2. What a fantastic Daddy Fest weekend. It sure make you appreciate what you have when you have that time apart, doesn’t it. Time apart = greater appreciation.
