“Do you or do you not pay musicians at your church?” If you do or don’t…give the WHY

I know at my church we don’t pay musicians. We’re all tight, like family. I think to us it’s all about the worship and it’s not a “job”. In no way will I or am I putting anyone down that does pay their musicians. See, the thing is, all of our musicians have jobs and support themselves. There is actually only one person in our church that is on salary and he’s our lead pastor. So there it is
